About

Think Globally, Act Locally.

This oft-used statement has been cited as the basis of all charitable thought in the modern world. But this statement, as cheerful as it may seem, has given us no end of misery. In becoming so entirely preoccupied with the idea of acting globally, our American nation has forgotten its little people, the peoplevery backbone of its society.

As American children are taught in school, it is an important value to help one’s neighbor. Newspapers are smothered in headlines discussing foreign policies, world events, and international woes. As our nation does so, we lose sight of what’s in front of us: own our people.

Sure, we all know that little commandment that teaches us to “love thy neighbor.” And yes, we all get a bit nostalgic when thinking of those “sharing” songs we learned in preschool, but do any of us actually commit to those tunes?

So, it is time to remember why you need not only think globally, but also act locally. And we are here to give you more than a few reasons why. Our efforts will be focused toward college-aged students interested in the plight of American issues. We hope that our site brings valuable knowledge and information to students, so that they may then use this newfound knowledge to fight for homeland causes. We want to stress how important we view globalization, but how important we also find it not to forget about the land on which we, as U.S. citizens, were raised.
